Men and "Cake"

As we are all fully aware, men and women are vitally different. No debates there. Being different isn't a bad thing. Differences are what make all of us unique, attractive, quirky; or all of the above!  Being different can enhance a relationship, or break a relationship. Being authentically ourselves in a relationship is more vitally important than calling out the differences we see in each other!

Knowing how chemicals and endorphins enhance our pleasure and feelings when "having cake" with our partner, can assist us with having a more satisfying experience and deeper understanding about "what" exactly is going on when we engage in intercourse.

I will ride the endorphin "train of love", for a good hour, after having a "cake-baking" session that leaves me breathless. Now all that being said, there are different levels of orgasms that can trigger different types of chemicals. A quickie, might just be that! A quickie isn't bad, as long as it isn't your "normal". When multiple orgasms occur, I am actually experiencing all sorts of chemical reactions that are firing away at my nerve endings, and in my brain!

A large percentage of women experience an emotional reaction when engaging in intercourse. I think our own experiences can prove that, along with many men, walking the planet right now, will attest!

Brenda Shoshanna writes a wonderful article about men and their ability (or inability) to express emotions and feelings. It's an easy read, so take a peek!

Research also tells us that men do, in fact, feel more connected to their sexual partner during their climax stage, and even after. Unfortunately, men are told either by their friends or society or some testosterone-induced-decision-making-method that it "isn't cool" to snuggle after. I believe in the "pillow-talk" after, as it often leads to round two! Win-win!!

Hope you are all well, this Holiday Season, and find time to bake all sorts of delicious things. (Cookies, bars, fudge....seriously. Flour-based baking is a fun way to pass the time) I also hope you get everything you want for Christmas, in the bedroom, as well!!
